Pleasure part II

Getting my Visa for Vietnam back in three days. Somehow it's so neat having a visa that says "Socialist Republic" on it.

I'm going to fill up this new overly-patriotic passports with stamps of many colors. Can't wait.

Yay, I love visa efficiency! I miss living in DC where I could walk over to an embassy and get it. [or my old job where they'd just pay some expeditor to do it.]

When's the trip?

so exciting! try to make sure these places give you good stamps (and good luck w/ that). we were all really disappointed by the barely visible stamps we got in greece.

and remember... this one's got a chip in it! they're watching you... dun.dun.dun.dun. dun.dun.dun.dun DUUUUUUUUUUN!

I got a great stamp for, um, Canada when we drove to QC in May... Aireen, when are you taking the bar?

In 18 days...brr. I'm heading back home out in the middle of the woods to do some intensive studying. Geesh this year has sucked bad enough. I hope I pass.

PS - I hate Canada, especially Quebec. I will never let them smite my pretty new passport with that horrible maple leaf.

I love the Quebecois! But I can understand if you've got bad feelings towards them... Quebec reminds me of French camp and all our voyageurs songs.

Stamp-wise, I was fortunate to dodge the Israeli stamp last summer. Definitely to be avoided.

Good luck on those final 17 days! Just think of how good it'll feel when it's *done*.
